sjkiss 28 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) I am just learning about this QNAP security issue where they recommend not exposing an NAS to the internet and disabling port forwarding. That's the only way I can get remote access to Emby to work. Should I be concerned? Right now I am running a TS-128. Edited August 25, 2022 by sjkiss added url
Luke 42077 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 They're going to say that to cover their butts. The important thing is you want to make sure that only the specific ports you need are exposed to the internet.
sjkiss 28 Posted August 26, 2022 Author Posted August 26, 2022 How do I find out what ports are exposed?
