How do I download subtitles on demand?

When is this going nto be updated for Android? I cannot download subs for a particular film even though it exists in opensubtitles.org. I logged in correctly on the opensubs.org emby plugin but it nearly always produces no results (even when exact match is turned off). I dowloaded to file manually from opensubs and it played perectly in Windows player, so why not in emby?
