FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Hi Guys, I've got a show Vikings: Valhalla, which won't show in Emby. I've tried putting 777 permissions on the folder and files, so I know that isn't the problem, and I can add any other new shows fine, so I assume there's something wrong with Emby gathering metadata about this show. I've also tried the show in a different quality to see if the files were the issue, but that hasn't worked either. Has anyone else got this problem or can replicate it with their setup? Using Docker Emby 4.7.6.0
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Do you have the logs for when you added this show? Are there nfo files with media? Could it be misidentified and multi-versioned into the Vikings?
FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 (edited) Show is a separate show in TheTVDB and TheMovieDB. No NFO's in the folders. Tried "Vikings - Valhalla (2022)" and "Vikings - Valhalla" as the folder name. https://thetvdb.com/series/vikings-valhalla https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/116135-vikings-valhalla Logs seam to find the show, but doesn't display it, even in metadata. ffprobe is getting data about the files too. Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Where does it not appear? Is it found with Search or Folder tab? But have both series in my library without issue.
FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 Search, folder, shows. All the ways of finding it, it doesn't appear. It's very odd. Not even listed in Metadata Manager
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Can you post the server log as it would have to identified as something else to not be found.
FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 I've renamed the folder a few times, trying different ways to it looks to find the folder every time but doesn't show in Emby but looks to be processing it. Luke 42077 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 Have you checked the parental control settings for the emby user? You may have configured something causing it to be hidden.
FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 Changing it fixed it, it was GB-R18, changed to blank and it's now working! THANK YOU!!!
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 That is the only other thing I can think of is what Luke mentioned as all metadata looks correct.
FingerlessGlovs 8 Posted August 20, 2022 Author Posted August 20, 2022 Can also see it in Metadata Manager also now.
Luke 42077 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 The configured parental rating on the user looks fine, but for the sake of troubleshooting maybe try removing it. You may also want to check the list view and make sure you haven't applied any filters.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 But it is a matter of what "16" is indexed to, but I am guessing "Unknown".

Just now, Happy2Play said: But it is a matter of what "16" is indexed to, but I am guessing "Unknown". yeah I guess the mapping is off to GB Rating I don't need the ratings, so leaving it blank is an ok solution to me. I can still see everything else.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 20, 2022 Posted August 20, 2022 @Luke should the 16 be prefixed with country? As 16 by it self is unknown, correct?
