Install android apk on android tv

I want to install android apk emby on android tv.
I have nvidia shield tv pro
I was able to install the emby android apk v3.2.6
I'm trying to log in to my user account, but I can't enter the password
As something is preventing me to write the password

I found a solution, I downloaded the shield tv app to my phone and connected remotely to emby android.  And so I put the password through my phone

If you exit to the home screen then re-enter the app the keyboard will appear.
