Very large photo won't load in photos library. Is there a size limit?

Never mind. It just showed up 20 minutes after the last `touch` attempt.

Neither re-scanning the library nor refreshing the metadata has any effect.

Even 'touch`-ing the file, then re-scanning and refreshing has no effect.

The library is very large photos (jpegs) of fine art, nearly all larger than 16K resolution.  The image in question is 147.9 MiB (155,056,505 Bytes) and is 13851x18811pixels. The next largest (byte-size) is 94MiB, and that image works fine. The filename is `The Sistine Madonna, Raphael (1513) 13851x18811.jpg` all the other images use the same naming convention, so I don't think that is a problem.

I can't see any indication of issues in embyserver.txt (server is still chewing through making *.bif files for my libraries, so the log is very large).
