mx5gr 1 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 I installed the latest LG app (1.0.35) to my LG unit (55UC970V-ZA). Scrolling is fine, response is also OK - comparable to my Xiaomi Mi Box S. HOWEVER, as soon as I start playing a file, it suddenly stops playing after 2-3 minutes and the LG application crashes and auto restarts. After this, when I try to reproduce the file, it crashes again and restarts, this time after 2-3 seconds of playback, thus making the file reproduction not possible. I suspect that the application crashes and the playback is then stopped. It also happens if the video file is not resumed but played from the beginning. embyserver.txt

Furthermore, regarding the embedded subs that has been mentioned in other posts, I also tried to start playing a file with no subtitles and then enable them during playback.... nothing appeared. After that, I tried to play other files with subs as srt files and nothing appeared again. As you have mentioned that this issue has been resolved with the new version of the app due to be released, I'll be waiting for it. In the meantime, if I can help somehow with the app crash issue, please let me know.
