Hi, are you experiencing a problem? It will run anytime the system reports a display change, that's for one.

Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

In your Hardware detection log, there are several errors for device:
     "DeviceInfo": {
                "Description": "Microsoft Basic Render Driver",
                "DirectXType": "DX11_1",
                "DeviceId": 140,
                "VendorId": 5140,
                "SubSysId": 0,
                "AdapterLuidHigh": 0,
                "AdapterLuidLow": 29512,
                "DedicatedSystemMemory": 0,
                "DedicatedVideoMemory": 0,
                "SharedSystemMemory": 2082562048

  • Error initializing an MFX session: MFX_ERR_UNSUPPORTED
  • Initialize MFX session: API version is 1.35, implementation version is 1.19
  • AddDecoderProfiles - Profile not supported (1): MFX_PROFILE_AVC_HIGH10
  • AddDecoderProfiles - Profile not supported (1): MFX_PROFILE_AVC_CONSTRAINED_BASELIN
  • AddDecoderProfiles - Profile not supported (1): MFX_PROFILE_AVC_CONSTRAINED_HIGH
  • AddDecoderProfiles - Profile not supported (1): MFX_PROFILE_AVC_PROGRESSIVE_HIGH
  • AddDecoders - Codec not supported: hevc, vp8, vp9
  • AddEncoders - Codec not supported. Out codec id:  mpeg2video
  • and many more

That's enough errors, that I would suspect a reinstall might be a good idea.

Try turning hardware acceleration off.

All my HW logs have this (multiple machines) except this is different

Initialize MFX session: API version is 1.35, implementation version is 1.19

as mine have 1.35 for both.
