myjunkmalebox 8 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Emby 4.7.6.0 on windows server. I have a few library folders setup, movies, TV, anime. The Movies folder includes a folder of adult content. In the account that my wife and I normally use I've setup a tag 'hide' that the account doesn't have permission to view (parental controls->Restrict Items With Tags). So all the adult content has the 'hide' tag, so it's never been an issue. We have a separate account with appropriate access. So the thumb nail for the movies library shows 4 little images from the contents of the library. These 4 seem to change randomly, not sure what triggers it. Recently it changed again, and one of the images selected is clearly from a title with the 'hide' tag, which the account does not have access to. I found the title with that image, and it is tagged appropriately, it is not visible to the main account. That seems like a bug to me. Additionally, how can I trigger it to rotate the image?

You can either a) remove adult content from that library or b) manually assign image, lots of them in Fan Art & Videos forum section. Similar occurence can be observed with Genres, where images are created from content out of all libraries, so you might wanna check on that also. marktaff 14 Posted August 11, 2022 Posted August 11, 2022 Another option is to move all your adult content to a new filesystem location, outside of your other collections. Then create a new 'Adult' library of type 'movies' with that content. Then set your 'adult' user (with a password, and require a password for login) to be the only user that can access the 'Adult' library.
myjunkmalebox 8 Posted August 11, 2022 Author Posted August 11, 2022 Thank you all for the feed back. Looks like I'll have to rearrange my file system. Follow up question, I use emby via chromecast 95% of the time. When selecting a title to play it'll put title info on the TV with a random back ground. Is it a safe assumption that this back ground selection does the same thing? Anything in the library, ignoring access restrictions?
