chalupabatman 0 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Hello - i am thinking of installing Emby on my Roku...I want to use Emby to play a m3u stream. Can I connect the Emby App on Roku directly to the m3u stream? Or what would my setup for this be?
ebr 16169 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 Hi. You would setup the m3u as a Live TV tuner in your server and then the Roku app (and all others) would be able to access it from there. You must have a server. https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001848795-m3u-tuners 1
chalupabatman 0 Posted August 9, 2022 Author Posted August 9, 2022 @ebr- i've got my server set-up and added a m3u playlist, but when I click on something via the emby plug-in for Kodi https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby everything tells me "incompatible stream"
chalupabatman 0 Posted August 9, 2022 Author Posted August 9, 2022 When I go to localhost all I see is the channels, I don't have the option to play any of them via web app only edit or delete etc

Luke 42077 Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 hi @chalupabatman you don't see any play buttons because you're currently in the server management section. To play, press the home button in the upper left and then click on the Live TV section. In this area you can view, play, etc. The server management screens are mainly for just that - management. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks !
