Emby extrahiert nicht alle Kapitel-Thumbnails

Hallo zusammen,

mir ist aufgefallen, dass Emby bei einigen meiner Filme nur die Hälfte der Thumbnails extrahiert.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die bereits erstellten Thumbnails zu löschen und den Prozess noch mal neu zu starten, oder kann ich diesen vielleicht sogar nur für die betreffenden Filme forcieren?

I think it should be fixed already. If not, we'd need to try to reproduce with your file.

hmmm....

i´ve just seen that the problem is still present but as far as i can see it only seems to be present when the movies are 4K HEVC encoded....

Did you try with the latest beta 4.8.0.8?

Could you please provide the ffmpeg log from extraction?

Looks like some crash is happening due to those logs appearing to end prematurely.

Would you be able to provide a file for testing in some way? (privately, please contact me via PM)

providing a file of such a big size is actually not possible for me i think but it shouldn´t be a big problem for you to reproduce the error because this happens to 95% of my 4k movies....

and as it seems it only happens to 4k ^^

just for trying some things is it possible to build new thumbs for single movies or delete old thumbs to try rebuilding those?

It's easiest to enable 

Save video preview thumbnails into media folders

and

Save artwork into media folders (when you have chosen to extract chapter images - like in your case)

so you can see the results in the media folder and delete them.

You can also make a small change to the file name..

is there any other solution?

i´ve sourced out all my media data to the cache SSD of my unraid server to prevent disks spinning up

edit:

I´ve just added a 10GIG file where the problem is present and going to put it on some webspace now

So it could be either due to some updates I have in the local version or some Linux vs. Windows issue.

Let's wait for 4.8.0.9 and try again then.
