No Audio with EAC3 stream

Hello I have a friend that is saying they sometimes don't hear audio and I noticed it's usually when the movie has EAC3 audio. Is there a way to fix this issue server side or client side. Like can I force the audio to convert to AC3 ?

What app version are they using and what tv model?

Can you share an ffmpeg log from one of these playbacks?

Thanks I will come back next time I have the issue I already changed the audio and the person is very non tech savvy so I will probably have to go to her house and check. I thought it would have been a more known issue.
