Hi,

I had my default language for one of my libery to Arabic but change it later to English but ever since every day I find my media are having Arabic Title, summary ( whatever is available in the Sources in Arabic)

I tried the below with no luck :

1 - deleted all my metadata content and caches which is working at first then again Emby change it later to Arabic

2 - manual referesh is working but I will find later changed to Arabic

3 - deleted any info files in the media folders

4 - tried to check and play with all settings options

My settings screenshots are attached and logs as well which is very huge one ( the latest) and I don't know how to trigger this issue it could take 24 hours for some of my media to switch back to Arabic and again the log is gonna be long as this one.

It's very annoying issue, I did the same thing with Plex but all are good any language switch is smooth so this is clearfiy the issue is not in my media folder.

Hi Luke, it's happening for example with ( lightyear - luck - The black phone )

Ok, please try refreshing the metadata on it. You need to do that anyway after changing the language option (see the help text at the top of the library options)

That's why I opened this topic I did referesh it manually and did it for the entire library and from the scheduled task but it gets back to Arabic no matter what I do.

Please attach the emby server log from the metadata refresh. Thanks.

Attached , it was in Arabic and did manual referesh to change it to English and by tomorrow will find it switched back to Arabic

I have no idea why this is happening maybe the scheduled task somehow not reading my new language settings?

Yes there is and if I delete it will find being recreared even so I did uncheck the metadata saver option

Note that this is happening even for the new added contents so it's not something related to the old ones when the language was set on Arabic

@fahad92 But deleting an nfo that is already added to the database does not change already imported information.

If language is already set in nfo files then it will always be used, so can you go over a specific example to include the nfo file.

@fahad92 What program is maked this nfo file as it does not appear to something Emby made?

But not seeing a language field from original guess.

Oh right your question made me realize I did connect something external to grap the metadata to that folder but completely forget about it.

Sorry to waste your time but if you didn't mention that this nfo is not by Emby I would have never remembered.

Thank you
