How to remove and prevent missing episodes/seasons from being created

That app doesn't even have the option to show them at all.

You are right the Android version does not show the missing eps

No. The missing items are shown. I was told in v 2.1.11+ that an option to not show them would be there. I am now not 2.1.14a and that option is not listed in the settings.

I dont want to have to use the Android version on my FireTV. While it offers me full control (and I like that) the interface differences are enough to make it unfriendly to remote control users

Not sure why you are not seeing the option but try the latest beta Amazon version.

I don't know how to do that. I did check and 3 FireTV cubes (all different generations, 1st thru 3rd) and 2 FireTV sticks (both the most current gen) and all of them are on 2.1.06a (aside from the one that updated to 2.1.14 after I deleted it and reinstalled).

I don't mean to be melodramatic but I do want to exaggerate so I am not misunderstood. Feel free to school me or put me in place but I feel like we are talking about the color of band-aids to use when the problem at hand is that I have a bullet hole in my head.

Why I am not seeing the option is problem #3.

• Problem #1 is why am I seeing them on version 2.1.06a when you cant even turn the missing eps on at all.
• Problem #2a is why cant I upgrade ANY of my Emby apps. I have verified that all my other apps (I only use 4 others) are up to date and have updated on time. This issue is ONLY with the Emby for Fire TV app. I suppose my Emby for Android is current.
• Problem #2b is if I have to manually update this thing (which I used to not have to do) how will I know if there is an update in the future? Do I have to follow that thread to stay up-to-date?
• Problem #3 is why the option to turn them off is not listed.
• Problem #4 when auto playing next episodes and it is missing I have manually click next for each episode (this might be fixed once I can turn them off)

I feel like there are multiple issues here to just one big issue that is being exposed in many ways and I dont know how to tackle these. Once I look for info on how to manually update and do it I do not think, at all, that it will address everything listed above.

Also, because I was not a good dude and did not say so earlier, I need to say so now... thank you ebr, and everyone else, for trying to help. I know I am not the easiest person to deal with when I get frustrated like I am

Because server changed its behavior.

Because you must've previously side-loaded them like I suggested you do with the current beta.

Correct.

I would suggest re-installing the app from the Amazon store or side loading from the APK I linked.
