Not really go look at Reddit lots of people have issues with them. The devices are what 5+ years old at this point.  I know others that have replaced thermal paste but it’s not worth it.  Apple ui is 1000% better than shield.  Maybe after the next switch thing that comes out in what another year they will release a new version.  But funny plex works fine with Apple. Emby is the issue not the device lol.

Actually this is the plugin forum. You should go post in the feature request since you use an illegal service and can’t install 3rd party plugins that this thread is actually about.

The other services can easier control your viewing experience because they are in control of it through their central servers.  We don't work like that.  This is still a feature we are interested in but, given its complexity, we just haven't gotten there yet.

Just use Kodi with Emby for Kodi plug in works great for watch parties.

This is the only feature stopping me from switching from plex. I am a plex lifetime subscriber but plex really has gone down a road I don't like anymore, having my media 10 ft from me but not being able to watch it in a internet outage is unforgivable.
