9 Fast Forward Speeds

I noticed a while ago that I am now getting 9 fast forward speeds and the fastest (number 9) isn't that fast.  Is there a way to switch back to just 3 speeds?  It takes a bit of time to fast forward to the end of a 4 hour movie. Thanks

Only took a quick look at the change.  It is an improvement.  I'll  update in the next couple of days if it doesn't seem right.  Thanks.
