Q-Droid 989 Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44002137137-remote-setup It could be double-NAT (chained routers) or CG-NAT. Read section: Verify Public IP and Port
Luke 42078 Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 hi @Yashwant please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
Yashwant 0 Posted July 31, 2022 Author Posted July 31, 2022 yes i have verified and found out that my router provided by ISP has Double-NAT can you know how to bypass that or i have to get new router to make a bridge connection and and use the second router as public
Q-Droid 989 Posted July 31, 2022 Posted July 31, 2022 If you have a single router in your home and have double NAT from the ISP (CG-NAT) then a second or replacement router will not fix the condition. If you have two active routers, yours behind the ISP router (chained routers) then yes, you can try to place the ISP modem/router in bridge mode. You can request fixed/static IP from your ISP or may have to resort to a VPN service that allows inbound port forwarding or a tunnel solution like Cloudflare Tunnel.
