Bigmack3000 107 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 As long as I bring over the nfo files with everything else, will Emby remember each show's watched status after I rescan them in?
GrimReaper 4762 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Watched status is not written in NFOs; use Server Configuration Backup plugin for restoring User data (playstates, favorites, etc). 1
Luke 42085 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Hi, please take a look at our backup guide and let us know if this helps: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159936-backup Thanks. 1
Bigmack3000 107 Posted July 26, 2022 Author Posted July 26, 2022 Thanks. I'll get this plugin set up. Just to give a few more details. I currently have film and tv on one nas. I bought a second nas to transfer tv shows on to. But the emby server will remain on the original nas. I'll download the plugin to be safe, but should I expect to lose any information when I point emby to the new folder location for TV?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 As long as items have providerids watch status is maintained. Items that do not have providerid metadata will lose watched states when moved. 1
Bigmack3000 107 Posted July 27, 2022 Author Posted July 27, 2022 Do I need to install emby on the second nas as well? Or can i just direct emby to that folder?

Bigmack3000 107 Posted July 27, 2022 Author Posted July 27, 2022 Would I use the "shared network folder" option to add it?
