iPad2 locking with app

Hi,

 

Why is the iPad locking with the app?

Apologies if that's not descriptive enough. I have an iPad2 with IOS 8.0.2, I don't have the auto-lock option of 'Never', only 5 mins and 2 mins. The MediaBrowser app doesn't disable the auto-lock. So 5 minutes into a movie the iPad locks and the movie stops. It's the only app of its kind that does this. 

 

I used to just use the browser but that too flaky, 90% of the time the movie fails to start, and resume fails. So I bought the app.

I have not tested this in IOS 8 yet. I will take a look at it for you. Thanks
