Can EMBY on Synology using UHD770 to do hardware decoding?

Hi~ I want to build up a DIY Synology NAS with i5 12500, but can the decoding be went through hardware by UHD770?

Hi, we haven't tested this exact model ourselves, but yes it should work just fine.

From a hardware perspective - absolutely - but the question will be more along the lines of which OS etc - there are a few threads on issues with the latest 12th Gen Intel CPU's and Linux drivers.  Windows doesn't appear to have any issues, but I guess you won't be running Windows on your Synology ...
