Collections in MrMc

Hello Emby Friends,

first sorry for my bad english. Im not a native speaker.

In played an testet a little bit with emby and it is amazing. I changed my whole Database bought a lifetime licence and im nearly happy.

The Emby App in Apple TV shows everything like i would. But cause of the known Problems i bought also MrMC. It works fine except the schowing of Collections.

In the normal Movie View i cant see the Collection. It shows only the sigle Movies. Is it possible to change or only when you integrate the direct with SMB from Server.

I use the Emby Sign-in in MrMc.

HI, what known problems are you referring to?

It sounds to me like MrMc hasn't implemented the Collections feature.

mrmc is pretty much abandoned so dont expect service or updates from them.  Their android dev retired over a year ago. There hasnt been an apple update since Nov 10, 2020.  Shame really. It was a pretty good app.

7 CHF for nothing. Sad that the ios emby app is not really usable.

So what i will use the shield for emby and appleTV for streaming.

ok i tested a little bit more and there is one more question.

is the emby app for appletv not able to switch framerate or did i miss some config?

MrMc switch to 24p but emby dont.

I read that the emby app for appletv is not on the level like the shield one. Maybe im wrong. Sorry.

Cause i tested some movies and the emby app look really nice. But the Framerate thing is a nogo for me. I hope its just some configuration

ok ok i was too fast. Found the thread yesterday. if i understand it correctly i only have the possibility to use the native player for framerate switching but no e.g. avi container or the MPV player with all containers but no framerate switching.

will this be fixed or will it stay like this forever due to apple policy?
don't get me wrong i like emby (apart from the scraper ;)). but i like apple tv more than shield

PS:
infusion is not an option. he can't do collections either

I run both shield 2019 pro and apple tv 4k. My wife prefers the apple UI so we use it for streaming services and shield for personal media since it can play practically anything. On the shield i have both the Android TV and standard app installed and have match frame rate on in both.
