IPTV Metadata and tags get erased randomly

Hello people. 

I have an IPTV source on which I created a list of channels for Live TV, using a specific tag when editing channels. Every so often the computer would restart for updates and when coming back no channels no tags even with back ups every 6 hours. 

 

If anyone can help me figure out why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it. Everytime this happens I have to re do all the channels one by one and it's tiring when you have a 200+ channel list already set to your preference  And if there's a duplicate I apologize and would take a nod in the right direction.

Hi, is it possible that the contents of your m3u url is changing significantly and removing channels? That is usually what causes this.

Thanks, I thought this might be it. The interesting thing is, that when I rebuild the list with the custom tag,  the channel is already populated with the Guide info. Is there any way to just save that metadata? or when i decide to move the server to a new and improved computer would I have to build the list again.

Hi, you could just pick up and move the entire server program data folder to accomplish that
