kr69 0 Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Hi all, Wondering how I could bind emby to an external IP. Only things I have found is that it can bind to a local IP, and turning off remote access still binds to all IPs.

Luke 42080 Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Hi, the server binds to all ip addresses, so you would start with that and then just configure remote access and then add additional filters as needed. Does that answer your question, or what exactly are you trying to accomplish?
kr69 0 Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Hi, I'm trying to bind it just to one IP, as the system has multiple IP addresses and it would be much simpler for my setup for Emby to be bound to 1 IP Address.

OK there isn't a direct way to control the low level socket binding, but you can use the network options to block certain traffic.
