Wrong subtitles coming up in search

Hello Emby Crew,

I searched in the KB, but I didn't see anything there that related to this. If I missed something, please let me know.

On a specific TV series, some of the shows are coming up as another show when I search for subtitles. Specifically, "That 70's Show" brings up episodes for "Ted Lasso". I tried to refresh the metadata to make sure that was correct. I looked at the nfo file, but that seems to have the correct information for the episodes. I tried to look at the bif file, but that made no sense to me at all. I am not sure if you need the following information, but I will add it just in case:

  • It is a Windows Server running Emby version 4.7.5.0
  • I am attaching the log files, the nfo file, the bif file, and a screenshot of what I am referring to
  • I have subtitle accounts with Open Subtitles and Addic7ed

Please let me know if there is something that I am missing here. I know that I can manually download them and that works okay. I am just concerned that there is a bigger problem that I would like to fix if I can.

Thanks!

Hi.  If you go to OpenSubtitles.org and search with the same file name, what do you see?

I would check the emby metadata at the series level and make sure the external id's are correct.

Hey Luke,

Thanks for getting back to me. From what I can tell, it seems right. I am adding the nfo file and a screenshot of the metadata page for the series. I confirmed that the ID's for IMDB, TVDB, etc are correct and the links bring up the correct webpages for the TV show.

Strange. @Happy2Play can you reproduce?

Not in my tests with this episode or random episodes from other series.  Only tested OpenSubtitles.
