negativzeroe 80 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 (edited) Can't ever collect logs because I only ever notice it when I go to actually listen or watch something that SHOULD be in a custom collection or playlist. But it happens to me all the time and of course the argument I've gotten in the past is "are you sure you put it in there?" well these images are scraped from the items in the playlist so see screenshot. I also have three other music playlists in addition to Christmas, Halloween, Marvel and DC custom collections that keep losing items from time to time. I even moved from M3u files to the native Emby manager but this has no affect apparently so now I get to go back and make all those again from scratch that way I at least can put a copy somewhere. Happy2Play 9783 Posted July 11, 2022 Posted July 11, 2022 Are you moving media around as that is the only way it falls off a Playlist as the path is no longer correct? As for custom collections do you write nfo files, if not I can see this happening if media is moved.

The only other service that touches this album in particular is beets, which only changes the genre metadata to match the top two genres in Last.fm. I have "Various Artists" added as an exclusion but that being said it only updates the metadata, does not rename.
negativzeroe 80 Posted October 11, 2023 Author Posted October 11, 2023 Bumping this, I have multiple custom collections and randomly find myself noticing that things are gone. For example I have a Halloween collection that is chock full of movies, etc to watch during Halloween time. I noticed that the Addams Family (1991) was no longer included, but Addams Family Values (1993) was. I added it and later went back to my server where I saw an nfo that was created today, which showed that it was in the collection, Perusing around more, I found many other titles dropped from many other collections. Here is Doom Patrol, last modified Jul 9, but should have been in my DC Cinematic Collection: So is this finally fixed and I have to simply add everything again for like the 30th time but this time the collections are saved in nfo files? Or is there some other way we can implement this to stay the hell the way we leave it? Tags maybe? And if so, can we get this bulk editor mentioned in 2018?
Luke 42083 Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Hi, bulk edit support is planned for future updates. Thanks.
