Unable to search "Use the keyboard on your mobile device"

Hi,

Iam unable to search any more using the remote. The on screen keyboard no longer appears and instead I am being directed to "Use the keyboard on your mobile device". I dont know what that means, I tried the keyboard in the shield app and that didnt work. Is there anything I can do to bring the on screen keyboard back so me and my family can use the remote? Thankyou

Hi.  In the Shield device settings under "Keyboard", what is selected?  It should be "Leanback".

Thanks, not sure what fixed it but after an emby server update and shield restart it worked again. I did check and the keyboard was set Leanback. Thanks for the help.
