At the moment there are so many options to contend it’s quite a struggle to figure out what you have just created. it works great but dang…. You need a notepad to plan an execute lol

Not sure exactly what needs updating in the KB article as it covers this already. Maybe it's a first time use issue in general, but anyone who has intros working for codecs should be able to easily ad tags and use that will little problem as well. Examples are shown already for codecs and tags. 20 hours ago, rbjtech said: Have a look at Vantage Point in the Plugins - it's the Cinema Intro feature on steroids and can probably do exactly what you want and more ... @Cheesegeezer That is a great way to describe it! If you're needs are more than playing a custom intro; intro based on a tag or codec; or playing a trailer before the "main movie", I'd definitely recommend looking at VantagePoint as it offers a great deal of functionality. Cinema Intro can be setup very quickly delivering a custom into and trailer preview with the greatest time needed for creating a directory and coping an into file(s) to it, then setting this directory in the Cinema Into GUI. With the custom directory already in place it's a 30 second setup. Vantage Point on the other hand is going to take some time to learn how it works and plan what you want to do. It can do so many things it gives you "option anxiety" You can literally spend hours playing around with different setups and get distracted quickly, so it helps to stay focused on a specific outcome from the start to get that working. Then go back and play some more.
