MrMackey 35 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Hey, I have started to rework the episode images of my TV series. There I noticed that the available images have a lower resolution than the ones I currently have. Did the previous emby version artificially enlarge the images back then? Or did the tvdb change the resolutions for all Star Trek series? What I have: 620x414 Both new images have only a resolution of 400x300
Happy2Play 9783 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 @MrMackey What episode is that? Did you just import this? But I have 400X300 images in my test and it looks like TVDB images are at least 2yrs old. But they all have a modified date 7/8/22.
MrMackey 35 Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 @Happy2Play The example was from Star Trek Voyager season 4 episode 4. No I got the images from 1-2 years ago. DS9, Voyager and Next Generation all have the resolution 620x414. Only now they are all 400x300. I was just wondering if anyone knows the reason, because I personally find 620x414 better because the episode images are displayed larger.
Luke 42081 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 To answer the question, Emby Server has never enlarged your original images, so I'm not sure what happened. 1
ebr 16185 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Hi. The first image is treated by CoverArt - which made it larger due to the "frame" around the original image. 1
MrMackey 35 Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 That makes sense. I didn't even think about that.
