Vicerak 7 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Hello all, For some reason, Roku and LG TV are no longer playing Livestream Subtitles. Initially, I thought it was the channel itself, but I tested it in my Apple TV and the same channel works fine. embyserver.txt Edited July 7, 2022 by Vicerak
Luke 42077 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi there, please attach the ffmpeg log as well. Thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Actually in these examples it looks like you don't have the closed captions track selected. Are you sure it's selected?
Vicerak 7 Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 (edited) It is selected. I can record a video to show if it is needed. I basically select the option from CC button. Edited July 8, 2022 by Vicerak
ebr 16169 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Hi. Can you please play the channel and select the closed captions and then immediately follow the instructions to send a log from the app? Thanks.
Vicerak 7 Posted July 12, 2022 Author Posted July 12, 2022 Sorry for late reply. ffmpeg-directstream-ab0c28bf-fc71-4dde-b9bc-ad6e35c27c63_1.txt embyserver.txt
Vicerak 7 Posted July 12, 2022 Author Posted July 12, 2022 Alright. I think I found the issue. I believe when you select "No Subtitles" but you enable during playback is what is not working.
Vicerak 7 Posted July 12, 2022 Author Posted July 12, 2022 If I set to default it works fine but always load the subtitles which is something I was not looking into. My goal is to manually enable subtitle as needed.

Are we not talking about Live TV here?
Vicerak 7 Posted July 17, 2022 Author Posted July 17, 2022 We are talking about Live TV only. If I enable the setting as below picture, the cc works fine. The only thing that does not is the Subtitle appearance .
Vicerak 7 Posted July 17, 2022 Author Posted July 17, 2022 But I If I set any other option and enable subtitles during playing, it does not work.
Vicerak 7 Posted July 17, 2022 Author Posted July 17, 2022 I enabled debug options, and I think I sent the logs. Here are the details: Action: Enable cc on Roku Channel: Starz, Movie Spiderman: No Way Home Time: 2: 02 PM ( 5:02 EST) Anything else needed?
ebr 16169 Posted July 18, 2022 Posted July 18, 2022 Thanks for the app log. This may be fixed in the latest beta of the app. Would you be willing to try that?
