Heval 4 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) Emby seems functioning fine with everything. I'm trying to play a specific series and get the playback error. I already watched this series before on Emby. Also other movies and series are playing fine. I did a full server and emby restart. no improvement. I have no clue what is causing this. Anybody has an idea? Thanks embyserver.txt ffmpeg-transcode-57024931-4b5b-443c-99be-a6bc7319edfb_1.txt Edited July 7, 2022 by Heval updated logs with debugging on and updated server
Luke 42078 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Hi, I'm not sure it will matter, but are you able to update to Emby Server 4.7.5?
Heval 4 Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 @luke I just updated to 4.7.5 still have the same problem. After clicking 4 times on "got it" button, it seems to play but it shows some frames and freezes. I updated the logs with debugging on. There are some erros in it. I hope you can help out.
Heval 4 Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 (edited) @Luke here is another log. Added all the logs to topic start. Edited July 7, 2022 by Heval

Heval 4 Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 (edited) @Lukelcould you indicate what the problem is? I figured out after 4-5 times clicking "got it" it starts playing in very poor quality. If trying to fast forward/ seek it freezes. It would be very helpful if you could solve this. Thank you. Edited July 8, 2022 by Heval

Also before I have watched this series on Emby and never had the problem. @Happy2Play
Luke 42078 Posted July 10, 2022 Posted July 10, 2022 Hi, he's referring to hardware transcoding in server transcoding settings. Generally you want that on the default so if you change to test this one file then you may want to change it back afterwards.
Heval 4 Posted July 13, 2022 Author Posted July 13, 2022 @Luke, @Happy2Play I did the following: changed the setting "Enable hardware acceleration when available" to "no" Restart Emby try to play the same file and same problem is still there.

Hi, we please see the log example from that? Thanks.
