German Media Center Plugins ARD & ZDF - Idea for functional extentions

First of all - many thanks for providing the current plugins @softworkz - I like them a lot :-))

Now coming to my idea for functional extentions:

Currently we get the same video several times in case we're searching. Reason will be that there are versions in different languages, versions for viewers with handycaps, different quality levels, ...

There is a tool called "mediathek view" which is able to show the content as well and provide some configuration options. I add here a short user manual description:

"The next step is to remove under "Load movie list" all channels whose content should not appear in the so-called movie list. For example, if you only interested in series and movies
movies, for example, you can hide Phoenix and Kika. Duplications are reduced if the French version of Arte is deselected. French variant is deselected. I marked the most important options in bold - but be careful, it's my personal view - other's might see it different. I don't know how you manage the quality level for steaming, e.g. if you try it anyway at the highest level.

I would appreciate a short feedback if this could be taken in concideration - of course, with out a precise  date of arrival. I know that this will not be the highest prio on your desk

These plugins don't provide their own UI and interactions. Instead, a (not TV)  "Channel Plugin" works in a way that it provides external items to Emby, so Emby knows about them.

But at the side of Emby, those items are "just" like any other Emby library item - but with most of the fields and features that are available for regular Emby items.
That means, that we can't add a UI button for choosing "French Version of Arte" or not, but what would maybe be possible is to add two "Studios": Arte DE and Arte FR and assign them to individual items. I'm not sure how much sense that would make, because we need to look at how this could be filtered for in the clients.

Emby has fields for some of these things at least.

Yes, I actually wanted to present different qualities as different "Versions" in Emby. It just didn't work as easily as I had expected and I ran out of time, but this can definitely be looked at in the future.
