Subtitles don’t adhere to mobile font overrides even when I strictly set it so independent apps can’t use their own fonts.

OK, those are device settings, but Emby uses it's own subtitle settings, so you have to configure from within the Emby app.

We can certainly look at expanding on the subtitle options that we offer though.

But Emby doesn’t allow you to choose font face or whether or not it should be bold. Those were ignored feature requests.

I wouldn't call them ignored, however we just haven't yet seen enough user demand for them to act on them.

brother, luke, you're understaffed but still manage to make a better app than alternatives, but i have to say this bro...

majority vote is not always what's best

you didnt build a great app by asking people to vote on what you should do. you chose what was best

with that said, subtitle options are standard everywhere, whether or not the members of this fine community have took the time to ask for it.

i myself have plenty features on apps i dont *vote for* but wish were implemented, and i'm not the only one who just sits and hopes they just appear one day
