scb99 245 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Watching “Phantom Menace” (H264 version) last night Emby playback stuck. It repeatedly stuck at the same point and I just realised, it was just at the point before the forced subs start for the funny guy with wings. So I guess this was cause and effect. No access to the server right now, but is this something you know about already, or shall I upload logs when I can?
Luke 42078 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
scb99 245 Posted June 27, 2022 Author Posted June 27, 2022 Here you go (by the way the anonymise log still doesn't work 100%)embyserver.txtffmpeg-transcode-b93d25ef-db73-43ca-aa0c-bb19fc3ee041_1.txt
Luke 42078 Posted June 27, 2022 Posted June 27, 2022 Why do you think the log anonymization doesn't work?

scb99 245 Posted June 28, 2022 Author Posted June 28, 2022 In the server log, it's everywhere visible after "Emby-Device-Name=" , as part of the POST strings
scb99 245 Posted June 29, 2022 Author Posted June 29, 2022 (edited) No, I can do that tonight and let you know if it’s fixed? Edited June 29, 2022 by scb99
scb99 245 Posted July 2, 2022 Author Posted July 2, 2022 I upgraded the relevant server to 4.7.5 a couple of days ago, but seem to have locked myself out from remote access! However I have another server running the 4.8.0.3 beta which can access the same file via the LAN, and with 4.8.0.3 it plays back correctly. I assume that means it's fixed in 4.7.5 as well.
