catch42 3 Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Just realized my server is no longer running and cannot be started. No activity in the log file for 2 days. I believe my computer crashed around this time, so perhaps something was corrupted. Recommended steps to fix? Should I uninstall, reinstall, and restore database from backup? Last time I restored from backup (2 years ago), it was a bit of a mess with triplicate libraries created everywhere.
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted June 23, 2022 Solution Posted June 23, 2022 Is a server log created when you try to launch Emby? If so can you post it. Otherwise you could try reinstalling over the current installation.
catch42 3 Posted June 24, 2022 Author Posted June 24, 2022 No server log was being created. I tried reinstalling and that worked! The server started up shortly after launching the setup file. New log file created and all libraries and settings appear intact. Thank you!
