Devs will have to comment more but TVDB and FanArt have issues with your connection.

Hi, they seem to be working OK for me right now. In your case though, it's hard to say. From Emby Server's perspective it knows it can't reach fanart.tv's images, but it can't always determine if it's due to something blocking the connection on your end, or if fanart is just having intermittent problems (which they sometimes do). So it could be something on the fanart side, but it could also be something network/VPN/security software related on your end.

OK so if it's happening with tvdb as well then you probably have something interfering with Emby Server's ability to send these outgoing requests.

It may not. I'm just explaining that if you have trouble with the VPN bypass, that might be why.

@Luke I think there is something wrong with your program if it works in plex with a vpn on with fanart.tv then it should work with emby I tried doing a route too using this guide https://support.hidemyass.com/hc/en-us/articles/202720646-How-to-let-websites-and-IPs-bypass-the-VPN-using-static-routing did not do anything. If you cant fix the problem can i get a refund?

No, I just used a docker image on my NAS to solve my issue . Could not get it working on windows.
