Some Roku Issues

I am having some playing issues with Emby on Roku. Now I had these similar issues going back with the App before the big server update, but it was corrected when I started using the roku beta app. My issues are when starting the emby app on Roku, it buffers, it will drop live tv in about a half hour & go into the guide.  My new issue that I didn't have before is lip syncing, which sometimes is corrected after a restart.  I use channels DVR for live tv with my spectrum account because I am unable too get reception where I live.

Now when I originally had this issue & @ebr recommended I try the beta app, everything worked great, but since the big server update, the beta app has become unusable for me with the same issues appearing on the beta as the regular app. Just before, we were watching the news & I had lip sync issues with both apps. I am uploading the recent logs & hope that will help.

Hi.  Do you have an HDHR Prime?

No. I run channels dvr through the server & it's the same server as emby. No issues on fire TV apple.tv. when I had these issues last time used the beta app but after server update even the beta app is buggy.

Is it playing the exact same way?  Or, for instance, is one transcoding while the other direct streaming?

In the web app, it's direct play.

Yes it's consistent. Maybe a few months back before the server upgrade I posted these issues & I started using the beta app. After server update even beta app is buggy.... not sure that helps. I also forgot to add that when in emby for some time the remote stops working & I have to hit the home button to exit..another note, issue is when using live TV, I do t think I've had these issues if I was watching my saved content.

Hi.  Can you please re-test this with Emby Server 4.7.5 when available for your platform?

Ok & ebr not sure if I mentioned it but this these issues are eith live TV. The sync issue happens after the live tv drops.ro the guide screen. It's not dropping from "are you still watching" after going back into wmby then I have sync issues & have to reboot roku. I also factory reset my roku but it didn't make a difference.

@ebrI did the update, rebooted & I get audio when I play emby but no video.

Emby plays fine on web, mobile, fire TV but not roku. Only audio..... no video.

Guided playing again I uninstalled the emby app on roku rebooted the roku and installed the app

Yes everything is good. I'll see when I get home if I notice any difference after updating.
