VLC Video support

Is there VLC video player support to play videos on Emby? how can be setup? If not, is there any plan for it?

VLC can be used as an external player. What type of system are u using emby on ?

Dear Mook, 

I watch movies on my LG TV and also on my Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra (when away from home).

I have install Emby on WD Mycloud EX2 - Ultra

Sorry this is as much as I know (I am not very good at computers) but the reason for my question is that there are some movies that I cannot watch with emby but I don't have a problem watching them on my PC or phone using My Cloud application and VLC.

I also would not know how to install an external player on emby, but after your response I may give it a go.
