justinrh 260 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I configured my router as an OpenVPN server, clients get a 10.x.x.x IP address. Emby Networks > "LAN networks" is set to 192.x.x.x/24. While I was out and about, I used my Android tablet to connect to the VPN, then I logged into Emby, where it presented the 'remote'/WAN login page. While watching a video, Android popped a toast saying the VPN disconnected, but the video just kept on playing. If the VPN disconnected while Emby was serving, how did the video keep streaming? (I don't think it was just buffered to cache)
Luke 42079 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 HI, hard to say but probably due to bytes that were cached client-side.
