Camera Upload Seperate folders

Is it possible to add seperate folders when uploading images from mobile

the app creates camera roll, but then adds all the other folders like whatsapp, messenger, screenshots, etc, etc under the same location so they are all mixed up.

In Plex before they discontinued the feature it was able to do that, so would love a similar feature within Emby

No. Not like this. We would like the emby server to create a folder for each album we choose to upload

We would like to maintain the folder structure of our photos that is on our phone. So they are albums (folders)

Emby uses the album name reported by the device, so yes this already happens.

But when it uploads to the server, it throws all images into the same folder. It would be nice if images were in separate folders like they originally were on the device from which it backs up.

I have an album on my phone which is in folder DCIM/camera. And another folder "House". Now if i back up these 2 folders via emby, images if both folder will end up in one folder on emby server. It would be nice if images were in separate folders like they originally were on the device from which it backs up

OK that's odd that the device considers them as part of the same album.

You are saying that emby server should have created separate folders for my albums?

Not necessarily. The folders on the server are based on the album name on the device. I was just expressing my surprise that the device reports them as being part of the same album. Doesn't necessarily mean that it's wrong.
