maximum streaming limit

Recommended Posts

Hello,

almost every time that I'm using one user on the App of LG TV i receive the below error:

"Your account has exceeded the maximum streaming limit set by the Emby Server administrator"

Naturally this is not true otherwise I would not have opened this topic.

Both setting about the maximum streaming limit (global and user) are set to unlimited.

The source is a QNAP TS-230 and the usual player an LG TV but I tested also with other player with the same result.

Can you suggest something?

Could you share a screenshots of which streaming limits you set?

Could you change those to some fixed numerical value, Save, revert to Unlimited, save. Aterwards reproduce the error and post server log.

Done, I have the same result trying from web browser.

I attached the log embyserver.txt , let me know if you need something else

I would also check the parental control access schedule. That could also cause this error.

Hi Luke,

you are right, I've put some restriction in hours and I didn't remember these.

Thanks for the help, but please accept a suggestion, an alert message more related to the setting that block the action could help the user to do the right settings on the system.

Could be better something like "You are watching Emby outside the allowed times"

HI, yes we'll look at improving it. Thanks for the feedback.
