sccampbell82 0 Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I had recently updated unraid from 6.9 to 610 and encountered a permissions issue impacting Emby. My libraries were no longer visible. The fix seemed to be to change permissions on my media from nobody: users to daemon:daemon. All was well until I had to replace my cache drive and restore my docker images from backup. Issue started again, but no luck getting access back. Some libraries are visible and can playback but no content is not visibe. Other libraries are blank, and permissions to folders appear to be the same. Schedule tasks like scan media also fail. Not sure which logs would be better, unraid or emby.
n4pl 2 Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) I had the same problem... look at the emby logs and search for permission denied... i had a few files with chmod 444... switched them over to 644 and everything is working fine now... dont chown the folder to another user as the one u had in your dockerfile...
