Peter911 5 Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Hi, does anybody knows, if it is normal that the Timeline in Emby App is sometimes not reacting or shows wrong timestamp while Playing the Movie via DLNA to a Mediaplayer (PlayTo Feature)? Playing the movie itself works very well. Many thanks for helping me out + BR Peter

Peter911 5 Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 Hi Luke, Problem: Timeline on iPad within Emby App sometimes not reacting or showing incorrect elapsed Time of playing movie content while using „PlayTo“ feature Specific (in adition): running emby server 4.7.1 on a QNAP nas tvs 673e; all content within the librarys is stored as .mkv files: 1080p an 2160p; using the ipad OS emby App on an ipad Pro 12,9“ for library browsing; the emby DLNA server function is enabled, the „playto“ feature too; the target client is an oppo player wich supports all my content formats (in the actual case i need only .mkv, but it supports all other formats too, via usb and local 1GB network by lan-cable, no wifi); i start a movie from library on iPad by selecting the Oppo Player via DLNA „PlayTo“ and movie plays fine after this the timeline of playing screen on iPad sometimes does not react or shows wrong playtime Hope this helps for further hints Thanks + BR Peter

Peter911 5 Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 Hi @Luke, it´s a little bit weird… sometimes timeline does not react at all, sometimes it works very well for some time until i pause the movie and continue (or if i try to scrub within the timeline). Then communication is lost. same behavior for stoping the movie and replay again. sometime it plays further from the last stop and sometime the playing stand will not be saved… i will try out the behavior with the the web app and report asap. Luke 42077 Posted June 25, 2022 Posted June 25, 2022 Hi, please try the latest update to the Emby iOS app, although I think the issue is specific to controlling your oppo and not specific to the iOS app. Thanks.
