Problem when resuming a video with DTS-HD audio

I think the 'handshake' between the devices plays a large part in this - some devices seem to 'recover' better (I use a Denon AVR for example), while other devices struggle and need a resync.

The other aspect might be that the player is needing to extract the DTS Core from the DTS-HD because it can't natively play it - and it is this process where it is failing.

 

I use Denon also, X3800H. My sistem is capable for any audio format and 4k HDR and DV video.

I have the same problem - been ignoring it for a while but more DTS releases make this a more pressing matter. Sideloading the standard android app makes no difference for me. The error is stuttering when resuming any files with DTS audio. A quick rewind makes it work but can't see why this is happening. Works find in Jellyfin...

I had the same issue when I'm playing mkv with DTS-HD files...it's very laggy

I tried the standard android, everything works fine~~

I can play mkv with trueHD, atmos, DTS-HD bitstream to amp perfectly.

it's ok, of course, android tv verison is preferable?

I'm not sure, but I'm happy with android version

It doesn’t matter which version of Emby I use the problem persists. Works fine on my Apple TV but not my shield.

My shield is ok, but it doesn't work fine on my apple tv, when I tried to play Dolby vision 4K mkv....it can't play..
