I have 4.7.2.0 but I can’t find anything on the server to enable skip intro. Where is the setting located.

Hi there, it's in the options for each of your TV libraries.

I’m looking under the TV shows library don’t see anything related to skip intro.

That's right. The iOS app will need to be updated for it. That's coming very soon.

@LukeDoes this feature use the same technology as commercial detection? If so, is that on the horizon?

hi

 

i have a problem with this function

 

I'm emby premier user 

 

i turn this function on my library  and on playback settings  but i cant see this pop up at all on different tv series , what exactly should do to make this work ?

 

by the way when i run the task it finish after one second !!

I think I see your issue. The feature is currently not supported with strm files.

i upload the setting

 

im trying with the walking dead and Westworld video files ( not strm ) but still docent work !

What exactly did you do? I still see westworld strm in that log.

thats imposable !

 

i just restart the server to be sure cash been updated

 

i deleted the strm fils and just use the actual file

 

but still dosent pop up

im trying with different tv series and no result and on my phone and on my laptop

the task for detect episodes finish less than a second !!! im sure something is wrong

 

beside of the library and playback settings does need to do something else ?

Hi.  How many episodes of Westworld do you have in that season currently in your library as physical files?

@kyma88 Yes the second log shows you removed the strm files but only added one episode from S01 (S01E04).  I believe it takes multiple episodes from the same season to create "CreateTitleFingerprint".

strm files cannot get this info as the media has never been played and has no media info until first playback.

hi again

 

i managed to fix the problem by adding whole season .

 

i can say for make this work at least need more than 5 episodes of a tv series season.

hope this futures support strm file as well .

 

by the way this function still doesn't work on lg TVs
