Hello is there a way to have the users that you give access to your server, stay logged in, and not have to enter the address and user login details each time?

Hi, we already do this by default. What Emby app are you referring to?

Hello, so Amazon fire devices use android correct? A few people I instructed to select automatically login as this user for their startup settings, but they’re still saying the app is requiring them to enter the server address and user login info to gain access.

Hi.  Make sure that the WAN address shown on your server dashboard is correct.

Is there a way to manually change the wan address in the Emby settings, because I now see that is the address that my vpn is using?

Yes.  The Network tab of server configuration.

I changed the remote ip adress filter to the address I use in the network settings and I couldn’t access the server out of network then I tried changing the local ip address but I had the same issue

Have you configured it correctly now or are you still having an issue?

No I haven’t solved it I tried adjusting the two settings in network tab but it didn’t help
it only blocked me from logging in to the server altogether so I just left them blank again

Are you still having an issue with this?

I haven’t really tried anything else since, I’ll just have them add the server each time I guess

You are not filtering address as that does not change what Emby is binding to.  Filtering is for Whitelist/Blacklising IP addresses to connect to your server.  You would apply your WAN address in External domain:.

But note if your WAN address changes then connection is lost.
