Modifications for collections

Hi all,

would be nice to see the following for movie-collections:

1. add the time range automatically under the cover (1950 - 1977) for example. Should be changed automatically also when a new movie is added.
2. add the amount of unseen movies from the collection, same what is displayed by series.
3. add the next movie from collection to "Continue Watching" would be nice aslo.

Hi,

any update for this? Could be very enoying when you sort your movies/series into collection and you have to click inside to see if there are unseen conent or not

To me this would just clutter CW.  But everyone has their own wishes.

All three would have to be optional as I would not want to use any of them.

Why not the first option?  It's an excellent idea that makes an order in which you see the range of years the films were released.  I think it's great.  And also regarding collections there should be minimal sorting options.

No, how to do it?  I just want the years range and name to appear below.

No.  I didn't edit anything.  Is it possible through this tool to add the year range below the collection?

It is not possible as Collections as there is no such thing as a end date like Shows.

But I don't really see the value of Top Gun Collection showing a year of 1986-2022.  What would the year really mean? 2 movies in 36 years

A dev in theory could use first and last item in a collection as the dates are known.

So do you have another solution?
It bothers me that under individual films there is a release year
And on the other hand under collections there are no release year dates in any way.
Visually, it bothers me...

Why don't we assume there will be
the hobbit collection and below will be all the years of release,
2012, 2013, 2014 or 2012\13\14
I have no idea how... but we need a solution for this.

it's for unplayed items. In series it is also the unplayed ones
