Probably not related but: Do you have "Display specials within seasons they aired in" turn on by any chance? Library->Advanced tab How about these 2 settings from Library setup menu? @Luke Not sure how this is pulled from the database but if it's a single SQL query or two if you PM the SQL, that could be helpful knowing the criteria being used. Question about IsInMixedFolder column above.

Question about IsInMixedFolder column above. The only one of those settings that I have enabled is Display Missing Episodes. I've turned it on and off and it doesn't make a difference. It appears that you're looking at the Recordings library which IS mixed. And, interestingly, that one works. The libraries that do NOT work are the TV Show media type libraries.

Not a problem at all. Interesting to me that the mixed library works and not the tv shows library. I'm not sure if this would be at all helpful, but at least it'll be a data point. Filtering on episodes DOES work, but filtering on the show related to those same episodes does not. So it's definitely tied specifically to the show level. At least from what I've seen.

I would hope there's some obvious difference between the 2.

The Crew works, Abbot Elementary does not. It seems there should be some obvious difference between those which would show us which field is messed up.

Based on what I read in that thread, it seems there was an update that didn't probably move metadata to the right "new" fields. It seems like this issue may have happened at the same time although these are likely different fields than the other issue.

It's a bit annoying not being able to use a basic feature. I'm not sure it helps, but having the table view might provide a clue. the 2 shows that are marked as played don't have a Date Played or any Plays associated with them. In the example below, I marked The Big Bang Theory as played a few minutes ago and it still doesn't get a Date Played stamp.

Thanks for responding @ebr. It seems there's been progress in the other thread though. Aren't they related? I'm not getting any response from Luke in that thread though so I'm not sure he's looked for a connection yet. Regardless.... I'll hold tight. 1

The other database is fine but I don't see the problem.

Looking at the install that I have that still fails it would appear these issues are unrelated as those fields are correct and still fails these filters. But since rebuilding databases on other portables, it is DB related but a matter of figuring out exactly what. 2

That one is played, but it doesn't work with the filter.

I select the Unplayed filter and everything shows up, even the played items.

Yes, I still see the problem. @cayars If you can look at the new database that I posted in the DM then here are a few shows to take a look at (these are all played, but don't get filtered): 12 Monkeys 30 Rock Abbott Elementary Aerial America Bad Batch The Black Donnellys Bless This Mess Boston Legal Burn Notice These are all the Played that show up correctly as Played. 12 Monkeys shows as Played in the table, but doesn't get filtered with the Unplayed filter. This is the view with an Unplayed filter set.
MBSki 1114 Posted June 20, 2022 Author Posted June 20, 2022 @Luke I'm not certain, but I think one of the shows that I was having trouble with is now working. @cayars When you get a chance, can you open the db that I recently sent and take a look at American Auto? I think that one wasn't working in 4.7.2, but is working in 4.7.3. That's the only 1 that MIGHT be working though.
