Hello.  I am experiencing an issue configuring a Movie library.  The files are store in a Synology NAS and they have the correct permissions assigned.  I can browse the share content from Windows' File Explorer by the IP as well as the DNS name with no issues.  In Emby, I receive "The path could not be found. Please ensure the path is valid and try again." Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Have you tried mounting it in your OS and enter that path?

Oh yeah!  I have the share mapped and can browse the content with no issues.

So have you tried inserting that local path as Library path?

I made it the M:\ drive but Emby doesn't see it.  It isn't listed in the list of local drives.

Is Emby running under the same user?

Nope    I can browse the share with no issues from Windows explorer.

Now it says I have the wrong user name and password:

"System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: The user name or password is incorrect. : '\\nas01\video\Movies'"

Which account is it using to authenticate, the Windows Account Emby2?

Okay, you need to go into services and start the Emby service with a userid and password that are exactly the same as one on your NAS and has read/write permissions to your files, folders, shares, etc.  When running as a service Emby uses the account which started the service to gain access.  By default, all Windows services start with a system account which won't have access to your NAS
