Hello.

I update my Emby server to the new version, I´m using Ubuntu x64. And now the new images don´t show correctly.

image.thumb.jpeg.7524c879256cf68680f189f0d49bf01b.jpeg

I try to delete the image and find again, restart... I don´t know what is the problem because i don´t touch anything besides the server update. I see the log and i have this errors:

What kind of mount are the images stored on?

	System.IO.IOException: System.IO.IOException: Input/output error : '/home/plex/gdrive/Plexlitado/Series/Marvel Cloack and Dagger/Marvel's Capa y Puñal 1x03 Vitral WEBDL 1080 Dual HDKnY-thumb.jpg'

All the cache are stored on the SSD. Is mounted by rclone but I don't stored any image never on my gdrive.

The server is looking for an image at:

/home/plex/gdrive/Plexlitado/Series/Marvel Cloack and Dagger/Marvel's Capa y Puñal 1x03 Vitral WEBDL 1080 Dual HDKnY-thumb.jpg

Are you saying that doesn't exist? Sounds like you need to run a library scan.

Posted

Yes, I see. But any image is storaged on that directory. Because the rclone is mounted only read, always. I do various scans after the update.

Is any way to set the dir of the pictures? Is the cache dir?

Thanks

I installed the previous version and the problem is solved, so, the problem is in the last version.

I think you could have just run a library scan and then you would have been fine after that.

I ran some library scan after the update

Are you saying this image does not exist? Or is not reachable at the time?

That image does not exits. In the dir only have the mkv files.

So eventually the older version of the server will go looking for that file again and the same thing will happen.

I would suggest running a complete scan of all libraries. If you still have an issue after that, please attach the emby server log. Thanks.

I was watching the log and i can see the same error that you quoted, but now the image works, i can´t understand the problem. Seems to be a error to read in the cloud, but the image is store... idk where...

The new titles without images, i rescan the metadata and shows a poster... wtf

Right that's why I'm saying the same thing would have eventually happened with the 4.6.7 server. Do you still have an issue at this point?

Posted (edited)

Now i have the 4.6.7.0 version, the previous of the update. Seems to be ok right now. I want to update soon to the next version, but if i don´t know how to resolve this problem... all the images and cache are stored in the SSD, not in gdrive.

Thanks for the help :)

Emby Server deletes cache files that are older than 30 days old, so little by little it's going to start trying to get them from the cloud again, and you're going to run into this no matter which version you use.

Yes, but I´m talking about new titles in the library. The old data is ok, is only the new.

Maybe, i found a fix to this problem in the last version, in the library option i uncheck the option "Save the ilustration in the folders" .

Then, i forced scan metadata in the new title without picture and works again, have a picture to show!
