Long load times and heavy stuttering

Since the recent update any movie I watch stutters like mad. I'm running everyinthing locally, windows emby server and Nvidia shield on my T.V.

 

Any ideas what this could be. My internal network seems pretty stable and fast...

Everything is up to date, but something is proventing the media from playing smoothly...
