is there a chance that the servers im trying to scrape the data from arent replying becuase they have ignored the ip range of nord VPN for security?

I guess Beta will not help you.

If it works without Nord VPN, I guess you have your answer.

that was just a thought I had, however issue still could be ipv6/v4 traffic routing and would like to try the new option outlined in the beta.

You can simply install the beta over the stable release.  However, you cannot go back the same way - to go back you need a full backup (of Emby, not the media!), or you need to start afresh and rebuild everything.  This is because the beta changes the database, and so the stable version will have problems with it.

I am having to manually refresh my metadata after disabling nord VPN which is getting really old, im getting close to switching projects as 4.8.11.0 doesnt work for my use case.

sometimes when i ask it emby to refresh metadata for a whole series (saves me key strokes drilling down to the new EPS its missing data for) it wont refresh the whole series properly.

is this becuase i am trying to refresh too many series sequentially and there is no queue system for the metadata?  so its not done refreshing the series and i start to refresh another?
